  • Daniela Solzbacher, MD, Dr. med., Assistant Professor (Clinical), earned her medical degree at the Heinrich-Heine-University of Dusseldorf, Germany in 2001. She completed residency training in Otolaryngology at the University Hospital of Essen, Germany, and is board certified in Otolaryngology. She practiced as an ENT surgeon in Germany until 2010. She completed her psychiatry specialty training at the University of Utah and is board certified in Psychiatry. She joined the faculty at the University of Utah in 2016.

    Dr. Solzbacher is the Medical Director of the Treatment Resistant Mood Disorders Clinic and ECT/TMS/Ketamine Services at the University of Utah Huntsman Mental Health Institute. She offers inpatient and outpatient consultations for patients with refractory mood disorders and is a provider for neuromodulation techniques including electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), and Ketamine treatments for depression.
