I have enjoyed working with the nurse midwives so much. Christi is an incredible provider. She is so warm and friendly and the fact that she cares about the patient is incredibly obvious.

Love her!

Both Dr. Herrera and one of the chief residents on the MFM came to see me during my visit. They were both very kind, supportive, and showed genuine concern for what was going on with me. They eased a lot of my fears. Honestly, I could not have been given better care.

Christi is seriously one of my favorite people. I truly enjoy seeing her for our visits. She is a wonderful provider and just emanates care. She is gentle and caring in everything she does at each visit - has a wonderful sense of humor.

Christi is wonderful. She always makes me feel so comfortable and reassured. I have recommended her to many friends/family.

Christi is one of the nicest, most caring people I have ever met. I truly enjoy coming to see her.

I've seen this BCHC midwives before and always had fantastic experiences. This was the first one I had that wasn't so great. Christina definitely has a great beside manner and was very friendly (the medical assistant was not very friendly though.) My issues with this visit were with the follow-up. I made this appointment because I was fairly certain I had a UTI. I know what UTI symptoms feel like and I was pretty sure that's what I had. I was told during the appointment that I didn't show signs of a UTI and that it was probably changes in my pH levels from a recent IUD insertion that was causing the symptoms. I'm not upset that she gave me that diagnosis, because I know it's hard to make these judgments sometimes and she was doing her best with the information she had in front of her and it very well could have been the case. However, they took a urine culture from me and it did come back positive for UTI. By the next day, my symptoms became more pronounced and I became more convinced that this was a UTI, so I called in to ask about my test results. I was told someone would call me back in 24 hours and no one did. I called again after the 24 hour period and was place on hold forever and finally spoke with a medical assistant who confirmed that my urine culture was positive. I took the test on a Monday and didn't get my results back until Thursday afternoon and only after I called to inquire about them multiple times. I was disappointed that no one got back to me with the resu

Christina is great!!! I'm going to spend some time getting to know the other midwives for my delivery, but plan on returning care to her.

I LOVE how K. Elmore followed up on things we had talked about in our previous appointment. It made me feel like she cared...and it wasn't just medical things she followed up on, she commented on some personal things too (like traveling, etc.). For some reason that just made me feel like I was in good hands. K. Elmore has a very calm and chill demeanor. It seems my husband is very comfortable with her as well, which means the world to me too.

I really liked Christina. I think I'll stick with her throughout this pregnancy (if she'll have me!).

June 12, 2015

Both Christina and the student working with her, Jessica, showed sincere concern and competence. I felt very comfortable with both of them.

April 28, 2015

She was great about explaining things and talking about our concerns and our options. She explained the different procedures and what we could learn from them so we could make our own decision.

February 27, 2015

Christina Elmore went above and beyond what I expected when I voiced my concerns during this appointment. I was very relieved when she gave me some easy natural remedies and looked into my problem as much as she could. I felt like she actually cared. the midwives at the clinic are great - which is the only reason I am going to this hospital. I really don't like the actual hospital itself and would go somewhere else if it wasn't for the great midwives.

The midwives always let me exhaust my list of questions before moving on. I never feel rushed.

November 05, 2014

Upon finding out I was pregnant I initially met with an OB who showed little interest in me or my condition. Once I switched to the midwife department my experience has been nothing but positive. I particularly love Kristina, the attention she pays to my every question and enthusiasm for this momentous occasion in my life. After meeting with several other midwives last night I'm confident in their abilities to provide the care I need as well!
