Nicola White, FACOG, MD

A specialist in obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Nicola White practices full-scope obstetrics and gynecologic surgery. She has a passion for medical education, contributing significantly to training and mentorship within her field. Dr. White's clinical interests encompass a wide range of gynecologic conditions such as PCOS, endometriosis, abnormal vaginal bleeding, pelvic pain, menopause, and sexual dysfunction. She is also highly experienced in reproductive health, offering fertility treatments, pre-conception consultations, and miscarriage follow-up care.

In her practice, Dr. White performs a variety of procedures including C-sections, hysterectomies, laparoscopies, hysteroscopies, endometrial ablations, and IUD insertions, as well as managing Essure complications and conducting biopsies. Her surgical expertise includes oophorectomies, polyp removals, hymenectomies and vulvar biopsies. She dedicates two days a month at the UPWARD clinic where she works with pelvic floor physical therapists and care for women who have had complex obstetrical lacerations. Dr. White’s focus on providing comprehensive and compassionate care to her patients.

Dr. White is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology. She is an active member of the Academic Departments of Obstetrics & Gynecology and the Academic Divisions of General OB/GYN.

Dr. White served as Administrative Chief Resident during her Obstetrics & Gynecology residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She earned her M.D. from Tufts University School of Medicine and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Health & Societies, with a minor in Chemistry, from the University of Pennsylvania.
