Dr. Hopwood is a wonderful surgeon and I feel fortunate I received a referral to his practice for my open myomectomy.
I generally have a good experience at any UofU visit, but Dr. Hopwood is truly exceptional. I was referred by another ob/gyn to Dr. Hopwood because he was the only one who could perform the specific surgery I needed. He is so kind and patient. I felt heard, cared for, and informed at every step of my treatment. I'm now two months post surgery and feeling fantastic. I really can't believe how good I feel. Decades of debilitating pain - GONE FOREVER. I'm so grateful to Dr. Hopwood!

Dr Hopwood is amazing. This was a post hysterectomy follow up appointment. I was so nervous during the initial appointment due to how other medical professionals treated me. My surgery was in 30 days after the initial appointment. Surgery was uneventful for me and my recovery was so good I questioned if I even had surgery. My 6 week follow up appointment was a fantastic closure to the misery I'd lived with for years. He is so caring and willing to answer any questions, I couldn't stop thanking him for improving my quality of life. This man is amazing and I have recommended him to everyone I know.
