I waited 30 minutes before seeing Dr. Sharp. Dr. Sharp had me do a month long pain log and didnt even address it. He also recommended treatments that Ive already had. The audio for this virtual appointment was never good. We had to change to a phone call in the middle of my appointment. I was given a new medication and told to follow up in a month. I called to schedule the follow up and they dont have anything for two months.
He is very knowledgeable but he needs listening skills.

He's been my doctor for 20 years. Honestly we need a category above "very good" because he is truly exceptional. Basically he walks on water. I'm so grateful he is at a teaching hospital so others can learn from him.

Dr used non specific words, as if I couldn't understand. at one point he called betadine "soap".

I was initially disappointed when the mid-level provider came into our last scheduled appointment prior to C-section, but dr. sharp took the time to come in at the end of the visit and make sure everything was fine and our needs were met before we saw him again on L & D.
Ive been a patient of Dr. Sharps for many years and always felt that he provides outstanding and professional care. The reason I did not rate a 5 for the first question is due to the fact that this was the first time I concluded an appointment with him and felt that I had more questions than when I arrived. There was still an exploratory ultrasound to be performed, but I wasnt quite sure what we were looking for. My overall feeling was that Dr. Sharp had concerns he didnt want to worry me about unnecessarily, but that just worried me more. He is so kind and compassionate and asked the questions that I did have. I should have asked more questions. It was the first time Id left his office with a feeling of uncertainty, so I look forward to having results from the ultrasound.
