Jacqueline O’Neill, PT, DPT, NCS is a physical therapist at Sugarhouse Health Center who specializes in the treatment of individuals with neurological diagnoses such as Spinal Cord Injury, Stroke, Brain Injury, and several other conditions. Jacqueline graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2014, and went on to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from George Washington University in 2017. She received her Board Certification as a Neurological Clinical Specialist in 2021. Jacqueline has worked as an outpatient neurologic physical therapist since graduating, initially in the District of Columbia until she moved to Salt Lake City in 2019. She recently completed a Pilates certification with an emphasis on the use of Pilates for neurologic rehabilitation. Jacqueline is originally from Illinois, but moved to Utah to take advantage of all of the outdoor activities it has to offer. Jacqueline is an experienced clinician in the use of specialized rehabilitation equipment including: Zero-G balance and bodyweight support system; Restorative Therapies functional electrical stimulation devices including the RT300 SLSA and Xcite; Bioness L300/L300 Plus; Bioness BITS; Alter G Treadmill; and Indego Exoskeleton. She also enjoys working with and educating Physical Therapy students as a Credentialed Clinical Instructor by the American Physical Therapy Association.
