Dr. Eggebroten is an absolute GEM! I saw her for my postpartum visit and had to bring my baby with me. When he got fussy during my IUD insertion, she gently rocked his stroller to help soothe him (during the procedure!) Her care goes above and beyond clinical expertise; she supports her patients in every way. The U of U system truly hit the jackpot having her as a provider!

I will never see this ¿doctor¿ ever again. She was AN HOUR late to my appointment. Never did an exam. Suggested a reading list(!!!) about menopause. I wasted a long time getting to see her, waiting for her, and got nothing but a reading list out of it. Every time I think of the colossal waste of my time¿. It's been over a week and the thought of having to wait months for another GYN practitioner just ups the ire all over again.

Every time I visit, she gives me different guidelines for needing a pap smear or breast exam. Last year she wasn't inclined to do either until I asked for them, and told me every 3 years was fine. This year, I still had to request the breast exam specifically, and she told me I should have both things done every year. I realize research is ongoing, and guidlines change, but I just never know what to expect even when my annual appointment comes around.

I really love Dr. Eggebroten. She was very warm and friendly and when I told her I was having more anxiety than usual, she gave me resources to go to should I choose to use them and said they could monitor my progress if the anxiety continues or gets worse. She answered my questions without making me feel silly for asking them and made sure I knew what to do in case I went into labor early.

This was the best experience I've had with healthcare
Dr. Eggebroten was amazing at explaining my condition and the procedure, even pulled out pencil and paper to draw for me to help me understand better.
I was scheduled for a yearly pap and because she was 30 minutes behind she just wanted to discuss my hot flashes and reschedule me for next year. I was already ready for my pap and I told her I didn't want to come back next year when I could get my pap and schedule for five years.
The doctor took the time to help explain my diagnosis and help me go through the various treatment options. She was thorough and compassionate. If only I was able to get in to her clinic more easily.
This was a new provider and I was extremely comfortable with her. She spoke Spanish which was a pleasant surprise. I am very glad I was able to meet her.

Throughout all of my visits, I have felt that my provider's communication and bedside manner was poor. There were questions that I had that were unanswered, or concerns that I had that she blew over without any sympathy. I do feel like she is very well educated, but that is hard to respect when there is a lack of care and or concern in her answers.
Dr Eggebroten is one of the best doctors I have seen. I will be seeing her again for all my gynecology needs. Eggebroten told me exactly each step through the exam. I love Dr. Eggebroten. She made me feel very comfortable during the exam.
