Jocelyn is a Certified Nurse Midwife and Women's Health Nurse Practitioner with the BirthCare HealthCare practice. Jocelyn was raised in Minnesota and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin. After working as a Registered Nurse in Wisconsin and in Washington, D.C., Jocelyn moved to Salt Lake City where she received her Doctorate of Nursing Practice at the University of Utah. She loves the Utah mountains and is often found outdoors on her days off.

Jocelyn provides full-scope midwifery care, including prenatal care, management of labor and delivery, postpartum care, contraceptive counseling, and gynecological care. Jocelyn believes in the natural ability of women to experience birth with minimal intervention. She is currently accepting new patients.

Midwife, Jocelyn was vey nice and knowledgeable but did not thoroughly assess me with me being a new patient. I scheduled for my annual check up considering I havent been to an OBGYN in 2 years, thinking I would get a pap smear or some kind of testing for a baseline (again being a new patient) and she didnt do any testing after waiting months for this appointment. Just asked me some questions and said to reschedule in a year. I felt like I wasted my time with her and my concerns were not important.
