  • Karlie provides compassionate care as a certified nurse midwife by making sure her patients feel heard and understood so they can receive the best practices at every stage in their lives. Karlie treats patients from teenage years through childbearing, labor and delivery, and menopause.

    Karlie received her doctorate of nursing practice degree from the University of Utah, where she took part in research on sexually transmitted injections in Fiji with the University of California San Francisco. She is currently working on outreach to Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander women who are seeking health care by providing services at South Main Clinic.

    Karlie is an adjunct faculty in the University of Utah College of Nursing teaching new midwifery and women’s health providers. She has a strong passion for helping those who come from different backgrounds and cultures.

    During her time off, you will find her paddleboarding, biking, playing sports, and enjoying a lot of laughter with her husband and family.
