  • Kathryn Maurer, MD, is a gynecologic oncologist and assistant professor at the University of Utah School of Medicine and the Huntsman Cancer Institute. She specializes in the treatment of gynecologic cancers and pre-cancers including ovarian, endometrial, cervical, and vulvar cancer. Her clinical interests include minimally invasive management of gynecologic malignancy, gynecologic cancer screening, and evaluation of hereditary gynecologic cancer syndromes. As a clinical investigator, she is interested in advancing treatment for these cancers through clinical trials.

    Dr. Maurer received her medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She then completed an obstetrics and gynecology residency at the University of Utah and fellowship in gynecologic oncology at Cleveland Clinic in Ohio.

    No other doctor I would want. Dr.Maurer genuinely cares and makes sure to hear my concerns and respond to me in a way that is understanding and clear. I feel better knowing she is looking out for me
