Kristen Durbin, MD, Assistant Professor (Clinical), earned her medical degree at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University in 2019. She completed Triple Board residency (pediatrics, adult psychiatry, child & adolescent psychiatry) training at the University of Utah Spencer Fox Eccles School of Medicine in 2024. Dr. Durbin currently holds clinical faculty appointments in the departments of Psychiatry and Pediatrics at the University of Utah, where she works as an outpatient psychiatrist for patients with neurodevelopmental disabilities throughout the lifespan at the Huntsman Mental Health Institute Neurobehavior HOME program, and as a consulting psychiatrist within the South Main Clinic pediatrics mental health integration program. Her primary academic and clinical interests include integrated/collaborative mental health care and medical education (specifically educating pediatrics residents and faculty on mental/behavioral health care in the primary care setting). Dr. Durbin is also a certified bilingual physician who provides clinical care in English and Spanish.

Dr. Durbin is board certified in General Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics, in General Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and in Child/Adolescent Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
