Too sick to come in? We offer virtual urgent care appointments. Receive care from a U of U Health expert from the comfort of your home. All you need is a smartphone, tablet, or computer.

Sickness doesn’t always happen between 8-5. Urgent care at Redwood Health Center is open all day, plus weekends and evenings. Visit us when you need care right away for an illness or injury that isn’t life-threatening:

  • Minor injuries like small cuts, sprains, or mild fractures

  • Common illnesses like colds, flu, ear infections, or sore throats

You don’t need an appointment to visit us. Just walk in.

How Much is Urgent Care Without Insurance?

Cost shouldn’t be a barrier to health care. We offer payment plans and financial assistance. We also offer estimates for out-of-pocket expenses. When you select an estimate aa self-pay patient, you’ll get an estimate of how much the services will cost.

Insurance Coverage

  • Urgent care—Most insurance plans bill urgent care visits like a regular primary care visit.

  • Virtual urgent care—Many plans cover Telehealth services. Contact your insurance carrier to verify coverage.

We Care For a Variety of Minor Injuries and Illnesses

  • Cold, flu, fever, or sore throat

We also perform several common in-office procedures like suturing, abscess drainage, ingrown toenail treatment, fracture management, and ear lavage.
