The rheumatology clinic at University of Utah Health's Sugar House Health Center treats patients with all types of rheumatic diseases.
Rheumatic diseases can cause:

- swelling, and
- stiffness in your joints, tendons, bones, ligaments, and muscles.
Over time, these conditions can get in the way of your day-to-day activities and lower your quality of life.
Rheumatic Pain Treatment
Arthritis is the most well-known example of rheumatic disease, but there are many other types of rheumatic diseases that can cause pain and discomfort in your legs, spine, and skin.
Most rheumatic diseases are painful. Some types (like osteoarthritis) are caused by normal wear and tear to your body from being physically active. Others, like rheumatoid arthritis, are caused by problems with your body's immune system.
Many people think that only the elderly get rheumatic diseases, but pain from these diseases can actually affect people of any age.

In the Sugar House Health Center, we are located on the fourth floor. When you enter the clinic, you will take the elevators to the fourth floor where you will check in with the desk.

Make an Appointment
To make an appointment with us, you need to have a referral from your physician. Please have your primary care provider send a copy of your most recent laboratory test to 801-581-6069. Also we encourage you to check with your insurance to make sure this appointment will be covered by your insurance.
