Christina has a strong passion for providing full-scope midwifery care across the lifespan of a woman. This includes routine gynecologic care for healthy individuals as well as pregnancy, labor, birth, postpartum, and menopause care.

“It is a blessing to do what you really love as a profession. To me, it is a blessing to be a midwife, supporting women as they transform throughout their lives. It is an honor to be invited to join a woman as she becomes a mother. It is an honor being with a woman as she courageously makes decisions about her health. I am an advocate for each woman in her particular circumstance. I focus on educating women about their bodies and rely on evidence-based recommendations to inform their questions. I hope to help each woman discover the answers she is seeking for herself and her family.”

She is currently accepting new patients. To schedule an appointment, please call the Women’s Health Center at 801-213-2995 or log into MyChart.

Christina earned her bachelor of science in nursing from the University of Utah, where she spent five years working as a mother/baby nurse at the Baby-Friendly University of Utah Hospital. After completing her doctorate in nursing practice in midwifery and women’s health at the university, she joined a private midwifery practice to continue supporting women through labor and birth alongside experienced mentors in home, birth center, and hospital settings. She joined the BirthCare HealthCare team in 2019.

Christina is an adjunct faculty member at the University of Utah College of Nursing. She mentors midwifery and women’s health students during their clinical training and teaches in both didactic and hands-on clinical courses.

      SUGAR HOUSE HEALTH CENTER

Christina has done a wonderful job hearing me and communicating with me effectively. Ensuring I have the information and understanding I need to make informed decisions. She is never pushy or dismissive about anything. Plus I love that she is genuinely excited with us (even if pregnant ladies are who she sees everyday)!

      MADSEN HEALTH CENTER

Christina is the best! She takes extra time to answer all my questions and address my fears about giving birth. She's very thorough and I felt extremely confident having her as my midwife. I had a postpartum hemorrhage, which she was able to get quickly under control and at my first postpartum checkup she caught a uterine infection before it got bad. She's the kindest person you'll ever meet too!
