Quality Health Care for Older Adults
What Is a Patient-Centered Medical Home?
This is a primary care outpatient clinic where you will receive quality, innovative health care from a team of experts who work to ensure that:
- your needs are met,
- your voice is heard, and
- your health and well-being are at the center of your care.
Average Age for Geriatric Patients
Geriatric care serves the health and wellness needs of adults at the age of 65 years and older. Anyone in this age range can receive primary care in our patient-centered medical home.
However, our team is best suited to provide care for people who are:
- 85 years and older,
- have functional or cognitive limitations, or
- multiple, chronic medical conditions.
Locations & Hours
The geriatrics clinic at Stansbury Health Center is located just inside the main entrance. Our front desk staff will be available to guide you to the right place from the moment you walk through the door.
Monday: 8 am to 5 pm
We do have availability on other days for patients who call with urgent requests.

Our geriatric doctors (geriatricians) are specially trained to diagnose and treat the unique health care needs of older adults. They take the time and care to:
- complete a medical exam for patients,
- explain any complex health and medication concerns with their patients, and
- provide patients with individualized treatment options.

- Care management services
Health Conditions That We Treat
People ages 65 and older may benefit from receiving care from a geriatrician if they experience any of the following:
Convenient Blood Tests & Labs Directly In Your Exam Room
When you’re not feeling well, we know it can be hard to walk to another building or even another floor to get blood work and labs. If you need blood tests or other lab work, you can get these done during your appointment, directly inside your exam room.
Your provider will come into your exam room and draw your blood or perform the lab you need. Your doctor will then analyze your labs and come back into your exam room to discuss your results so you don’t need to walk to another room in the building.
