Sixty-two percent of our patients were male and 38% were female with an average age of 59. Patients stayed in our rehabilitation hospital for an average of 19.3 days and spent 3.4 hours a day in therapy.
Our patients flourish in our rehabilitation programs—91% of patients were back in the comfort of their home after 90 days of hospital discharge.
Brain Injury Recovery Outcomes
Our Brain Injury Program treated 314 patients in 2025:
Sixty-one percent of brain injury patients were male and 39% were female with an average age of 58. Brain injury patients stayed at Neilsen Rehabilitation Hospital for an average of 18 days and spent 3.4 hours a day in therapy.
Our brain injury patients exceed rehabilitation expectations in our program—93% of patients were back in the comfort of their home after 90 days of hospital discharge.
Spinal Cord Injury Treatment Outcomes
Our Spinal Cord Injury Program treated 188 patients in 2025:
Sixty-seven percent of patients were male and 33% were female with an average age of 57. Spinal cord injury patients stayed at Neilsen Rehabilitation Hospital for an average of 28.1 days and spent 3.4 hours a day in therapy.
Our patients thrive after spinal cord injury rehabilitation—84% of patients were back in the comfort of their home after 90 days of hospital discharge.
Stroke Treatment Outcomes
Our Stroke Recovery Program treated 291 patients in 2025. Fifty-nine percent of patients were male and 41% were female with an average age of 63. Stroke patients stayed at Neilsen Rehabilitation Hospital for an average of 17.9 days and spent 3.4 hours a day in therapy.
Our patients’ perseverance shows in our home discharge rates—91.5% of stroke patients are back in the comfort of their home after 90 days of hospital discharge.
