It was awful. She did not care about me or my health journey. She provided no solutions or plans moving forward. It was a waste of time and money. We need more healthcare providers who actually care about women's health.

I have had this procedure done in the past, and it was very painful. I was apprehensive about the procedure this time, but Katherine Ward did it in such a way that I experienced no pain. I appreciate her knowledge, caring, and expertise.
Katherine Ward, NP is absolutely AMAZING! She was so patient, understanding, knowledgeable, and kind. This was the first time I've seen Katherine. I wish I would have found her YEARS ago. She answered all of my questions in great detail, didn't seem rushed (like some providers do), and helped me to better understand what is going on with my body and health.

Dr Ward was excellent at describing everything she was going to do, what was the worst of it and about how long it would take. She also re-did a test which had unexpectedly come back positive for a cancer marker- after I asked here whether we could re-do it, and it came back negative, so I am very grateful to her for listening and taking care of my needs!

The doctor came in and introduced herself then introduced her student. She then proceeded with the visit, failing to ask if I was okay and/or comfortable with the student being in the room.The doctor then explained the procedure and what to expect, which I appreciated. However, I felt like she did not listen, made her own assumptions, and did not appreciate my feelings. She also immediately dismissed my plan of care, without even hearing me out.We then proceeded with my procedure. To start, I was EXTREMELY nervous/anxious and felt very uneasy with everything. The student must have picked up on it and began to ask me about my life and asked me random questions. I believe she did that to help distract me and keep my mind off of what was really going on. I greatly appreciated her and the kindness and empathy she showed me.The procedure went on just as Dr. ward had described. It was quick and mostly painless. The doctor sent a MyChart message regarding the results of my procedure, failing to explain what they meant. I called and spoke to someone who went over them but told me that she would put a message in to have Dr. Ward personally reach out to me to go over the results and continued plan of care. However, I ended up getting a call from a different member of her team and still have a lot of anxieties and concerns.
