Interviewer: What is the ROI of exercising just 30 minutes a day for five days a week? Certified exercise physiologist Britta Trepp, tell me about the benefits.

Britta: Well, 50% of overall health status is determined by health behaviors, which are diet, smoking, and exercise. Exercise can reduce development, and improve management of diabetes, prevent and treat heart disease, lower risk of cancer both breast and colon, treat hypertension, prevent osteoporosis and fractures, manage depression and anxiety, reduce the risk of dementia, improve mood, confidence, and concentration, improve bowel and sleep habits.

Interviewer: Wow, all of those things from just 30 minutes a day, five days a week?

Britta: It's true. Moving more pays dividends, so get out and exercise.
