University of Utah Health's Redwood Health Center treats patients with gastrointestinal (GI) disorders, including the following:

  • Hemorrhoids

  • Crohn's disease
  • Irritable bowel syndrome

Offering Endoscopy Services

Our providers also perform endoscopy procedures to diagnose problems in your GI tract. We perform colonoscopies and upper endoscopies right at the Redwood Health Center so you don't need to travel to a hospital.

We would like to remind you that regular screening is the best way to prevent colon cancer. Colon cancer screening should begin at the age of 50 for both men and women.

Patients with a family history of colon cancer or pre-cancerous polyps may have different screening guidelines and should consult their health care provider.
