Mental disorders are medical conditions that interfere with how our brains function. Most insurance plans include coverage for mental and behavioral health problems.
At South Jordan Health Center, we provide services as an extension of the Huntsman Mental Health Institute or HMHI (formerly University Neuropsychiatric Institute UNI). HMHI offers world-renowned, comprehensive care for adult and pediatric mental health disorders.
We are dedicated to the changing the around stigma of mental illness. We can do this through excellence and compassionate clinical care, collaborative research, and education related to behavioral and mental health.

We are doctorally prepared clinicians who provide individual, family, and group counseling services. We provide evidence-based psychotherapy in a sensitive and confidential manner.
We also teach graduate students in nursing and gerontology and conduct research at the University of Utah College of Nursing.

Free Child Care
Child care issues should never prevent you from getting to the doctor and getting the health care you need. We offer free child care for patients during their appointment.
