Women’s Sports Medicine Clinic

Women’s Sports Medicine Clinic

Women today are more physically active than ever, participating in athletics and fitness activities ranging from basketball to Zumba to triathalons. Female athletes have increased sport and exercise-related injuries and conditions that require understanding of the female body.

The Women’s Sports Medicine Clinic provides convenient after-hours access to experts who will care for acute and chronic sports-related injuries. Our all-women team of former collegiate athletes will discuss approaches to injury prevention and performance enhancement in a convenient one-stop clinic. We also serve as a team of physicians for US Speed Skating, University of Utah Athletics, and multiple high school athletic programs.

Women seen in our clinic receive services that match their needs and performance goals. These services include the following:

  • same-day physical therapy treatments,
  • access to sports nutritionists,
  • access to exercise physiologists,
  • and injury prevention programs.
